Yellow Spring Loveliness

Although we are in the height of summer I am doing a top secret project for Spring 2010. I shall hope to start planning from September. Its all very exciting! Have started to put together some ideas - scapping and mixing from the likes of Elle, Vogue and numerous other fashionista mags. Can you guess what it's for?!? Here are my inital thoughts:

The Bridge

I found a photo of my favourite house in Cambridge. Its located on Portugal Place - a stones throw from the river and Jesus Green. This is where I would like to live in years to come!! *Wishful thinking*

A very beautiful blog

I was casually browsing some interior blogs at the weekend and stumbled across this wonderful blog spot. Her name is Pia Jane Bijkerk and Id quite like to have her life. Having lived in Sydney, Paris and now Amsterdam I am so so envious! Her current abode is a gorgeous little houseboat on the Canal.

Her photography is atmospheric and ethereral - capturing so beautifully the monotomy of daily life - raindrops, decking, pavements et al.

A stylist by trade she puts her hand to many creative ventures ranging from writing, interiors, recipes, food photography and soundscaping. Her Parisan apartment makeover is my absolute favourite!! It is totally my scene. I love it!! She has even used the light in my bedroom in her bathroom transformation. Great minds.....!

I am absolutely loving this theme. And Valentinos A/W 09 Couture shoes are TO DIE FOR. Wing-like frills on heels are simply, pure beauty.

The Lounge Group

I have found myself doing some work for a lovely company called The Lounge Group based near London Bridge. They specialise in PR and marketing strategies for under 35's. Fun stuff they do include running experiential events at festivals, a plethora of in-house brainstorming sessions and organising student masterclasses with influential celebs. Cote D'Azur Envy

Currently missing my lovely friend in the sunny South of France. This picture always makes me giggle and reminds me of late balmy nights filled with glitter from the dancefloor! Next year - yes yes!

Just stumbled across this cool website: http://www.insider-london.co.uk/ With tabs such as 'Quirky London' and 'Modern Architecture' I was drawn in immediately. They hold trend tours! These bespoke tours can focus from retail innovation, restaurant and store design to foodie trends and markets in the city. Note self: book one up and take my notebook!

Sicily

Nothing can beat jetting off to the Med -this year it was the magical Sicily. Hill tops, Limoncello and views of the sea. Many an evening was spent strolling around Taormina, soaking up the chic Sicilian atmosphere and eyeing up antiques.
