Can you believe that me and my man got each other the same Crimbo pressie!? The very thoughtful and cool Design Museum membership. As mine was more expensive (am of an age...) we have decided to claim mine back. Which means a healthy sum to spend in the shop! Watch this space for some new bought items and some gloating!
I really wasn't interested in Twitter. Twitter was for nerdy social networkers who were a bit self obsessed and wanted to know the in's and out's of the Lohans and Mrs Kutchers of Tweetworld. This was until I actually signed up, followed and posted. It's actually rather brillanr. I have updates from the Guardian to Daisy Lowe, to Dolly Parton to Tony Hawk. It's ace. I've even started tweeting myself... All in the name of rsearch of course! To take peek follow this link.....www.twitter.com/katehards
Hope everyone had a lovely relaxing Crimbo! Mine was.... - lazy - lots of walks - dogs - chocolate meringue roulade - which is now legendary! - Kilworth House - Gurneys - The Sea - Oysters - The XX - which I heart
Festive drinks at The BFI makes Christmas in London. What's better than gossiping with an old friend about bygone times, a cheese plate and 'sink if you miss' leather booths. Beautiful lights, bitter air and the Cologne Market. Wunderbar!
A very good use for the Financial Times! All wrapped strategically; showing sport, wine reviews, Louis Vuitton handbags and stately homes depending on the presentee! Gifts all adorned with kitschy ribbon and copious amounts of gold bows. Obviously... Last year I used Le Monde and Figaro however East Anglian supermarkets dont tend to stock such international delights!
Absolutely loving having some time off work before Christmas. I am being spoilt at home and doing lots of Christmasy things. Have been tree shopping, pie making, snow walking, fairylighting, mince pie eating, tree decorating, brandy drinking, cheesy carol singing, present wrapping and generally getting in the festive mood. Here are some snaps of hometime....
